Tomato Mint Sauce


  • 2 tbsp oil

  • 50gm big onions (chopped)

  • 5 cloves garlic (sliced)

  • 3 tbsp tomato paste/ puree

  • 120gm fresh tomatoes (wedged)

  • 20gm mint leaves

  • 100ml water

  • 200gm plum peel tomato in can


  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 1/2 tbsp salt

  • 1/2 tbsp chicken stock granule


  1. Heat up oil in the preheated sauce pan to sauté onions and garlic slices until aromatic.

  2. Add tomato paste, stir-fry for 1 minute, add in mint leaves, water plum peel tomato and seasoning. Simmer over a low heat for 10  minutes until the sauce is slightly thicken, remove from heat and ready to serve.
