Vitality Breakfast Juice


  • 25g watercress

  • 1 large ripe pear

  • 2tbsp (about 30ml) wheatgerm

  • 2/3 cup (about 150ml) natural plain yogurt

  • 1 tbsp linseeds (flax seeds)

  • 2 tbsp (about 10ml) lemon juice

  • mineral water (optional)

  • ice cubes


  1. Roughly chop the watercress.

  2. Peel, core and roughly chop the pear.

  3. Place the watercress, pear and wheatgerm into a blender. Blend until smooth.

  4. Add in yogurt, seeds and lemon juice and blend until combined. Add some water if too thick.

  5. Put several ice cubes in the button of tall glass. Fill the glass to just below the brim with the juice, leaving enough room to decorate with few sprigs of chopped watercress on top.
