Mango, Banana and Orange Smoothie


  • 1/2 mango

  • 1 banana

  • 1 large orange

  • 2 tbsp (about 30ml) wheat bran

  • 1 tbsp (about 15ml) sesame seeds

  • 2-3 tbsp (about10-15ml) honey


  1. Skin off the mango, then slice the flesh out of the stone (pit). Peel the banana and break it into short lengths.

  2. Place the banana and mango into a blender.

  3. Squeeze the juice from the orange and add into the blender together with the bran, sesame seeds and honey. Whizz until the mixture is smooth and creamy, then pour into glasses.

  4. If the smoothie is too thick, thin with a little more of orange juice.
