Grill Figs with Prosciutto and Roquefort Cheese


  • 10 fresh figs

  • 100g/ 4oz prosciutto ham

  • 100g/ 4oz Roquefort cheese

  • 60ml/ 5 tbsp clear honey

  • Salt

  • Ground black pepper


  1. Cut the washed figs into quarter.

  2. Preheat the boiler or grill.

  3. Place the cut figs in the foil-line grill rack.

  4. Rip the prosciutto slice into two or three pieces.

  5. Put the crumpled prosciutto into the grill beside the figs.

  6. Apply 20ml (about 2 tbsp) of clear honey to the figs. Continue grilling until the figs turn to light brown.

  7. Crumble the Roquefort cheese and put among five plates.

  8. Add the honey-grilled figs and ham into plates. Pour over any left over juice from the foil.

  9. Season with ground black pepper and a little of sea salt.
